friendships that inspire

JOVIAL
As your sunrise found my forest
and a ray of warmth touched my waters
I felt a moment that streams touched
in honor of a gentle spring moment
                      *
from time to time, we dance, ripples
and shimmering light that journey through the limbs
and play upon my still waters
resting there for a while
                      *
I hop scotch through my forest
on top of smooth boulders
splashing water upon the moon
as it sprinkles like crystals
a rainbow upon my forest
