These are just the words that came out...
Looking into that glass
I don’t even know
Those eyes looking back
Aren’t the windows to my soul

I’m on the wrong side
The mirror knows my secrets
The lips try to part
Long to say ‘no regrets’

I can look in that reflection
I can pretend I am what I see
But I can’t shake the truth
That world is a fantasy

Like Alice through her looking glass
Or down the rabbit hole
I’m late, I’m late
But time is stuck, I know

I wonder what you would think
Seeing me and not the other
Would you realise you felt it all along?
Would it make you not love her?

I long to show you
Just what I can do
And maybe in your reflection
There is another you

Maybe through that glass
I told you those words
And you took my hands
To let me know that you heard
