This is a piece of school work i did and i'm proud of it. Horror story.
<-<-//Ok, I am NOT sad for putting on school work. It's just i'm pretty proud of it. It's mean to be the first few paragraphs of a horror book, and is meant to hook the reader. Did i suceed in that?->->

Laughter filled the air. Young laughter. A childs laughter. It echoed through the undisturbed depths of the ancient underground prison, as cold as the hard stone hall it dwelt in. The voice pierced the dark space, high and shrill, savouring it's pain.
The archeologists' hearts skipped a beat. How could a child be here? The rumours couldn't be true...could they?
But their worry and fear was soon dissolved. How melodic the laugh sounded- at least to their ears. It seemed to sing; it sang of the treasure which they so avidly hunted, how it could lead them to it.
The laughter feed on their hunger, encouraged their passionate greed. The men followed the voice, hypnotise, possessed by the bitter-sweet cackle. Their legs walked of their own accord, taking them into a black tunnel where no-one had yet explored. They trekked into an ankle depth lake of stagnant cave-water which shrouded the strange silver fish below and the human bones which splintered below their steel capped boots. The skulls cracked and crunched grimly but they didn't notice, their enchantment too strong. The eerie voice pulled them on.
Suddenly there was a light. A sickenly green light, the colour used to potray aliens in cartoons. As it came slowly closer it split into two lights. Two eyes.
  Who's eye? ...What's eyes?
A small segment of them screamed, jolting the men from their possession. The laugh ceased, a new haunting silence befell them. They turned to flee.
  But it was too late.
The eyes came closer, slowly, like a cat enjoying the last moment before it's kill. But as they came nearer their true form was rvealed.
  Buttons...
That was the last thing that the men saw before their own got torn out and the needle and thread got to work.
