Internal struggle
Trees lose their grip as their leaves dance to the ground.
Autumn’s breath blows out  Summer’s fire, emptying hearts as it empties branches.

Winter’s cold chills the vacant soul.
Despair creeps in enveloping us in her icy embrace.

All things lose their identity as snow suffocates the earth.
Silence enters abrupt.

Solitude’s disguise is lost.
Alone the trees bend, forced down by arctic weight.

Insanity draws it’s sword.
A frozen tundra hinders our defense.

The battle lost.
