Ummm... basically it's about murder, hence the title. :)
The lights vanished beneath the door. Everything became silent. He decided to make his move. Slowly, he made his way to the back of the house, the trees watching his every move. He made way to the window that he had deliberately fixed days earlier so it would not lock.
After gaining entrance to the house, he swiftly went straight to her sleeping quarters. The door slowly opened, small squeaks escaping. He watched her silently for a moment as she slept with a peaceful smile upon her face. He smiled over joyously over what was about to happen. Watching the life of an innocent drain from his victims leaving death in its place made him insanely happy. He made his way to the right side of the bed, careful not to trip on the many books and clothes scattered about on the floor.
She began to stir as he approached, the warmth radiating off of him let his presence be known as the warm smell of coffee emitted by the man filled her nose. Fright filled her as she turned; she had glimpsed and was staring closely at his silhouette. As her eyes adjusted to the dark, she saw the sly evil grin drawn across his face. He looked as though he was once a handsome man, but evil had corrupted him, twisted and molded him into a whole different being. He saw her green eyes widen and jumped at her, placing his right hand over her mouth firmly to keep her from screaming.
She stared up at him; her mind telling her this was just a dream, every other part of her screaming at her minds denial. She tried snaking away from his clutch, but that only succeeded in his grasp becoming sturdier. After concealing itself for the past few hours, the moon finally emerged from its hiding place showing through the window. Malevolence with a sliver of ecstasy was clearly seen as his eyes glistened from the pale light. A scream rose from inside and escaped muffled. He slapped her, which brought tears to her eyes. She began to cry uncontrollably.
Salty droplets streamed across the white smooth surface that was her face. He licked them off, letting the savory taste linger in his mouth for a moment or two. He sat on top of her, pinning down her arms with his muscular legs. His hands reached into one of the many pockets on his belt and pulled out duct tape and placed it over her mouth. Then, quickly taking his belt off, he turned his upper half around, and tied her legs to the foot of the bed so there would be minimal kicking.
Frantically trying to get loose and out of his clasp, she became unconscious of what was happening. He closed his fists around her neck and began to slowly tighten them, laughing maliciously at her feeble attempts to scream.
Far from life and close to death, he had her in the grips of his hands. She writhed underneath him trying with all her might to loosen his noose on her, to take another breath of life. Slowly, she began to see the dark rise within her. Glee filled his heart as she stopped flailing and her final attempt to be free failed. He got up, confiscated his belt and headed out the door, humming softly to himself as if nothing had ever happened.
