I wrote this poem on the spur of the moment. I don't know what to make of it.
The daisies come every spring,
putting smiles on children's faces.
Little white specks, like freckles on the lawn,
Oblivious to the changes of people and places.

The daisies come to announce.
They announce rebirth and fresh starts.
They seem insignificant compared to the rhododendrons.
They are oblivious to new loves and broken hearts.

The daisies are found everywhere.
They decorate gardens, fields and drives,
They decorate even the simplest of graves,
Oblivious to propriety and people's broken lives.
