A bit of a testimony
A light dawns over vast emptiness
The expanse, a wasteland
Wounds and scars
Where once pulchritude lay
A scene of utter desolation

The rays of the Son, now streaming
Falling into every darkened valley
Like a raging torrent,
Sweeping away the scars, covering the wounds
In their place now, blossoms of white
The expanse lush with greenery

Infinite and finite
Joined in intertwining beauty
One giving nothing
But that which he controls
The other giving in abundance
To fulfil need
