Not being able to let your past catch up....
I've been running my whole life
Running from raw emotions that cut deep
No room to breathe
Just keep running
Memories too gruesome to share
Regret
and
Guilt
Slowly taking over
But I can't stop
Never will
I am afraid
Afraid of what might catch up
If I allow myself to breathe
