this poem is for anyone who has felt like they weren't being true to themselves
someone help me,
I'm in too deep,
swept away by the currents,
drowning in who knows what.

someone notice,
that this smile is a plaster cast facade,
made to hide the pain,
but somehow you can always see.

someone look at me in a way that makes me,
love the way you focus on me,
looking at me.. through me,
as your eyes twinkle & shimmer.

someone be,
my life saver,
tossed into the sea,
into this flood of emotion to save me.

someone break,
this mask & let everyone see,
the true face of the one you saved,
the face you saw all along.

someone save,
the last piece of this shattered heart,
that has been through so much,
before it's lost to the abyss of the world.
