My first attempt at the japanese style Tanka poetry . . .
That which is outside
Is a manifestation
Of what is within.
Our greatly treasured pursuits
Are always kept deep inside.

Don't store the temporary--
Fill your heart with one who lasts.
Stow the worthy things
Up in the heavenly place--
Not where moth and rust destroy.
