Rain clouds cover
Sun’s golden rays
Parched earth
Cry of praise

Sky’s tears
Land’s delight
Welcomed shadow
Ending blight

Flashing knife
Incensed roar
From the land
A call for more

Liquid diamonds
Sigh of wind
Again the dagger
Bellows of sin

A darkened sky
Hides sun’s shame
Spent storms retreat
Composed skies reign

All is peaceful
No more pain
Impossible love
Between land and rain
