A poem about creatures of the dark
A Demon Called Nark

Into the pits of hell he must go,
to find the truth that nobody knows.

While fighting off many devilish fiends,
at the time he was using any possible means.

Through the nine circles of hell he has traveled,
as the secrets of life are slowly unraveled.

But then he awoke with sweat on his face,
the man's heart beating at an unsteady pace.

His body did feel made of pure lead,
yet gratefully realizing that he sure was not dead.

Looking around the room he saw naught but black,
then soon caught two eyes starring right back.

He let out a scream, but his voice would not come,
so instead he decided to risk it and run.

The monstrosity moving at a supernatural speed,
for human flesh is what now the demon did need.

The creature attacked with claws of stained blood,
and ate the man whole, right where he had stood.

So beware, beware the demon called Nark,
He comes out at night, at night when it's dark.
