A poem about my attempt at freedom, my love who has saved me.
Behind a black veil
Failing to see
Others around me
What there may be

A darkened world
With a crimson edge
Walking too far out
So close to the ledge

A flash in the dark
Of a blade so clean
Memories of remorse
Thoughts left unseen

Temptation so strong
Escape the dark world
A hand reaches out
Across the handle curled

But 'twasn't me
Who grabbed the blade
Someone to save me
Saw through my masquerade

Taking the pain
Leading me away
My saviour in white
Wont lead me astray
