A poem about the affect of praise.
and she claims the caustic compliments,
however detrimental
and since fear is exposing
imperfection,
her attempts are accidental
and she fights the truth
with pretend reality,
so contradiction is coincidental
and since they didn't believe,
she came to explain,
no wonder her life is mental
