this one is about the pain of love
I opened my heart to you not knowing what to expect.
I've grown tired of crying because of what happened next.

you were my soul, my spirit, my one desire. The love I
shared for you burned brighter than a fire.

I thought of you constantly with each passing day, but whenever we saw
each other I had nothing to say.

I've given you my trust, yet you take it for granted. you do sneaky things yet you know I can't stand it.

my tears flowed like a river just waiting to reach its
end. My heart pounds with envy for each new love that you begin.

I pretend to hate you to satisfy my feelings. I pray to God each day
to give me spiritual healings.

My judgements become weak I am unable
to trust. The eyes are the windows to the soul and in yours I see lust.

I've placed a lock on my heart it has grown too weak. I'll wait for its
opener....the owner of its key.
