A student falls asleep in class.
I watch the clock,
It goes tick-tock,
As I wait patiently,
for the bell to ring,
so I can leave class.

I close my eyes as I sit,
Maybe I'll fall asleep,
My mind goes wondering far away,
To a place I'd like to be,
As the clock goes tick-tock.

I pretend I'm a princess,
As beautiful as can be,
When a dragon come to my window.
He comes to my window,
To take me away

I ride on the dragon's back,
Far away from my little window.
I can see very far,
As far as I can see.
The dragon takes me to his lair.

The clock goes tick-tock,
I open my eyes to see,
The bell has rung,
I run out the door,
I'm as late as can be.
