Wrote another poem on the stage of my most recent production.
acting
a life of
empty wallets
bussing tables
dirty apartments
dont get started on the food
we eat
on the moods
we seat
acting
auditions
improvisations
living from penny
to penny
and not many can understand
why we do it
why we fight
Passion
its our fashion
we wear it
loosely
it doesn't fit
you'll see
we will make
it one day
and while we're being
paid
our good amount of
change
you'll be in a cubical
clipping your cuticals
wondering where you went wrong
anger fit
its a trip
that i go on
sometimes i lose my mind
look up
on the stage
be amazed
or the big screen
i'll be the new scene
of hollywood
and broadway
if it goes my way
not their way
its my way
or the highway
i've got the music
the rhythm
and there's nothing
you can do to stop it
so sit
and be
entertained
im on stage
listen
laugh
cry
that's how i thrive
and know im doing my
job
rob people
of their ability
to think where theyre at
to see where theyre at
immerse them in the show
so that they know
why im alive
why i thrive
onstage
