A poem about two characters compossed of a series of questions.
Are you there?
Are you hiding behind the leaf?
Are your hands warm to the touch?
Are your eyes brown like chocolate?
Do your hands fit neatly within mine?
Does your smile brighten anyone else's day?
Do you spring into motion when movement turns to still life?
Does everybody else see the same beauty in you as I do?
Do you hear my heart as we lie in the grass?
Does your heart make the same sound?
Do you feel the dampness of the grass on your smooth skin?
Does it feel cold on your ear?
Does your body fit neatly with mine?
Do we see the same stars at night?
Is your straw colored hair soft to the touch?
Is it crazy under that hat?
Is it me that visits you in your dreams?
Is it the sun that warms my soul or is it you?
Is it me you think of as we sleep?
Is it you that I kiss?
Is it all just a game of hide and seek?
Found you.
