Opposing sides about homosexuals.
The population of homosexuals is slowly increasing. There's two opposing sides, some that think homosexuals should have the same rights as a straight person and others that are completely against it. But the big question is why are some people against homosexuality?
By some, homosexuals are seen as filthy. What is so filthy about them? just because they kiss and/or have sexual intercourse with a person the same gender as them doesn't make them filthy. Are they doing any destructive things to the community? if they were thieves or murderers I see a reason to hate them, but if they're only living their lives the way they think is right then why hate them? Your sexual orientation doesn't make you a better person than me. Some people don't even know the motives of homosexuals being how they are, some people are just so judgemental.
Discrimination against homosexuals is an issue you hear about from time to time. Homosexual teenagers being beaten up and sometimes even killed. What's wrong with this world? People that go around murdering innocent people are bad. People that commit crimes should be excluded from everyone's lives because these malicious people are the ones who are damaging our communities by encouraging and/or teaching young people to be like them.
Another issue that intrigues me is why some Christians dislike or think that homosexuals shouldn't live with us. Aren't Christians supposed to be caring/loving for everyone regardless of ethnicities or colors? Doesn't God teach us through the bible to respect each other?
Sometimes homosexuals are viewed as people that have AIDS or STDs, those are some stereotypes that might never change but everyone has the same possibility/chance of getting a sexually transmitted disease. What's crucial when two people are sexually involved is if they are using protection. Sometimes that is what determines if someone will get any STDs, not their sexual orientation.
Homosexuals should have the right to marry, they are human beings, they're not made of stone, and they are not different from straight people other than their sexual orientation. We should all respect each other's opinions, traditions and sexual orientation because this is a diverse world and nobody is the same. This world is ours and by killing each other we're also killing this planet.
