I go into poetry over-load when I face rough times. Please read & give feedback.
I daydreamed my wedding
So many times
Before you left my side -
But that was long ago.

Now there's someone else
In your place
Holding me close
Doing all the things, you used to do.

But everytime I daydream now
I can only see your face -
When I'm wearing
That long white confection of lace.

I'm wondering what to do
Why can't I forget about you -
I'm supposed to be in love -
But not in love with you!

I'm wondering - should I leave?
And come back to you -
I'm wondering if I
Should ask of you...

Do you want to be at my wedding?
Because I want to walk you down the aisle.
Do you want to put a ring on my finger?
Because I want you to go on my honeymoon.

I want to watch you grow...
Do you want to learn with me?
I want you for my very own.
Do you want to love me forever?

Because I want you to be at my wedding...
