An innocent poem about first love
We can play house
While I hide
You can seek me out
I'll make you green eggs and ham
I'll sweep the floors and do the dishes
While you slay my dragons
And mind my mazes
I'll tell you stories
If you kiss my cheek
Color outside my lines
I'll fetch you a pail of water
I'll patch your crown
If you make me your queen
You can build our castle out of legos and dreams
Race me down the street
I'll kiss you if you win
You kiss me if I win
We'll dive underwater
And chase each other in the darkness
Tag, you're it
You always will be
Mind my dress
I'll mend your sweater
You can hold my dolls
While I play in my mother's garden
Until the roses die
We can climb trees til we touch the stars
And if you fall
I can catch you
And if I fall
You can catch me
And if we fall together
We'll stop midair and catch one another
