we all wish on stars...what else happens?
(Side note: this is like a collection of people sitting under the stars at night, so the rhythm is not complete through all of them to help create a difference in each person’s thought.)

Tonight I sit here under the stars
That shed so little light on my past.
So clear like headlights on a car
I hope this look will last
Because I need to see
Exactly where I’ve been
Before he and I can be

Tonight I sit here under the stars
And stare at their secrets and lies.
As Clear as four  well played guitars
I too know their ties
To my heart and my life
Helping me along this road
Helping me play my heart like a fife

Tonight I sit here under the stars
Wishing on them all
Before going to numerous bars
Praying they’ll help me stand tall
Through this life full of trouble
As it all comes heaping down
And I go out popping like a bubble.

Tonight I sit under the stars
And I cry out my eyes
Wishing to get away even to mars.
I can’t believe all these lies
He fed into my ears tonight.
Maybe the stars will help out
Hopefully they’ll help me see the light

Tonight I sit under the stars
Hoping to et things straight
Letting the night be ours
Wishing he wasn’t late
I sit hear waiting to hear
The sweet sound of him
Letting me know he’s near

Tonight I sit under the stars
Letting go of all my fears
Listening to numerous guitars
Playing music sweet in my ears
As I say goodbye to this place
Leaving for a brand new life
Starting over at home base.
