Difficulty of spouse bringing up entering adult establishment.
Tightrope walked successful

Upon her mention, I’m enticed, to further walk down fiery road,
I balk, “can it be all that bad?” the question comes, familiar,
Yet the words of the deceiver are recognized by my cognition,
Whoa, let’s think this through a bit I tell myself not to reject her ideas.

Surely they have semi-clean stuff, you know, harmless to the touch,
My sensations betray me and start to take over, I have to admit,
I’m interested, but before I do anything rash, to avoid anxiety,
I ponder deeper this request, she’s not here I can wonder freely.

Surely as long as my mind stays strong I can enter into the playground,
Without compromising my integrity, and since it’s with my wife, it’s sounding better,
This lure familiar to my mind, comes oft’ when drinking, gambling, offers up.
Step back, reel in, hold up, don’t make a mistake and possibly disgust the one your with.

In reality I know that if agreed we walk to this establishment, and cross it’s doors,
If it’s revolting in the least, unto my loved one, won’t I be blamed or take the brunt?
This I believe, and so I think of things less sordid, less, sharp, to satisfy her interests.
So I suggest we go to Borders, huddle in chairs in a corner and look at books more tasteful done.

She acquiesces and I am glad, I stood firm, although I bobbled here and there,
Win-win I say, it may have saved the one I love from strong exposure, which could
To spoil the wonderfulness we have right now. The Border book encouraged much,
And changed us for the better safely….
