Somebody who finds their inner self, after being consumed by the television.
How great life can be when you are alive.
Feelings previously abandoned to my own demise,
I had become dead inside-
Which was reason enough to change the tide.

Now looking up at the skies,
I have lessoned my sighs
By waking, not from sleep,
But a mental shutdown.

I was bored of the compacent looks, frowns.
The television stole precious time,
Endless programmes tainted with blood, guts and grime
And all i saw was a waste,
It left my brain numbed
And i never thought for myself.

Insead, i walk the hills,
Feel the air in my lungs
And once again can breath.
