My Invincible fell.
My Invincible fell.
He was bled pale and
cast, shaking, to wolves.
They laid his heart to humility.

Invincible is phoenix.
Propped on spindly legs,
he laughs at himself.
Terror coils around his neck.

Invincible jumps when I touch him.
