About hesitation on asking someone out
A growing state,
A feeling of hate,
No more trust,
In these days of late.

I hate these butterflies,
Their everywhere,
I hate the constant lies,
I know they’re there.

Floating around inside me,
The fluttering of hurricanes,
The gusts, they crush me,
They blow me off my feet.

I have no explanation,
No cause for the weather,
Though I have one question,
But I’ll tell you later.

It involves these butterflies,
Oh how I hate these butterflies,
It’s a big risk,
Yes an I’ll fly.

Maybe someday,
The butterflies will leave,
And I’ll be able to say,
What is making me bleed.

But now’s not the time,
I will wait in the dark,
Until these butterflies,
Finally depart.
