Sharon's still sleeping...
Sharon’s still sleeping. She sleeps a lot lately.
But that’s ok. At least she’s still here. We’re both still here.
We’re happy together. We weren’t always. But we’re happy now.
There was a time when she was going to leave me. But I fixed that.
And now were together. Together, and happy. So happy.
Look at her in there sleeping. So pretty. So peaceful.
I love her, I really do. But I had to fix our problem.
His name was Mitch. He worked down at the diner with Sharon.
He loved her, too. But not anymore. I fixed our problem.
She said he made her happy. But we’re happy now. Very happy.
I paid him a little visit, old Mitch. We had a nice little talk.
I told him to stay away from Sharon.
He told me to kiss his ass.
I told him we were happy, that she didn’t need him.
He told me to leave his house.
I said I wouldn’t leave unless he promised to stay away.
He got out his gun.
She looks so peaceful sleeping in there. She sleeps a lot lately.
I went back to his house. Slipped in through the window.
Found my way to his bedroom. I slammed a shovel into his face.
I buried him in his back yard. I don’t know if he was dead yet.
Problem solved. Or so I thought. I guess Sharon wasn’t as happy as I thought.
But we’re happy, really. I fixed our problem.
She said she was leaving me.
But I knew we could work things out.
But she didn’t want to.
But it’s ok now. I fixed that problem too.
She’s been sleeping a lot ever since.
Oh, she’s alive. I know she is.
Every now and then she stirs about.
I keep her fed. I give her water.
I love her so much, but I had to fix our problem.
When she feels better, we’ll have a little talk…
