Men!

Do you recall the day we met?
It feels like yesterday.
Unhurriedly we strolled the paths
That led us to today.
What matter if along that road
I sometimes made you frown.
What matter if along life's path
You sometimes let me down.
We'd compromise, we'd talk it through
Until we found accord
Then, after all was said and done
You'd have the final word!
