To JohnW. if you're out there... reading this, I love you.
I can hear a million tiny spheres of water
falling down on the stairwell outside
Here I can see your sweet, sad smile
on the reflection of a broken mirror

I know I've painted my life with different colours
to cover the cracks of my mistakes
too long I've been dwelling on dreams and far off reveries
To give me the comfort and security I need

I'm lost inside myself
with no way out of the labyrinth
a faint spirit wandering the dreams
too long I've been off with magic in the air
Still here I am in the shadows
Wanting to cry; but the tears didn't come

Watching you with that empty smile
Eyes of innocence filled with love
Something I once; used to feel
