an ever-running vision of paradox
REGISTER   
Register the sky
When
It is outright non-compromising,
Like
Someone plodding underneath.

Register that giant pride
It takes
In spreading
Its sapphire wings sideways,
Like
An expectant dove cruising
Towards lovelier air.

Human forms silhouetted beneath
Cast shadows
So small, in comparison.

Register the compass
That captures
People and things so unalike.
