Have you ever ran into a Jackass? You may be surprised.
The Jackass

A young boy asked his father dear …
“Do Jackasses live on farms 'round here?”

His father paused and in a serious tone
Said, yes my son, but not there alone

You see them in so many places
Here and there with many faces

Some tall, some short, some fat, some thin
Some simply meet you on a whim

You may see them at your school
Jumping around and acting real cool

Sometimes they follow you into your home
Claiming they’re your brother and never leave you alone

You may play against them in a game
Where they cheat and scream and call you names

One day you may see them at your work
Bossing you around like a blubbering jerk

The biggest ones like to drive on the street
Speeding and weaving on the edge of their seat

They've even called me on the phone
Bugging me to buy things or take out a loan

One time years ago I knocked on one’s door
He sent out his dog and laughed with a roar

At some point, no doubt, you will look in the mirror
And sure enough one will appear

But just as time will heal a wound
So to will a Jackass change it’s tune

So sit back and chuckle when one gets in your way
Sit back and wait till the end of the day

For the morning will come and the Jackass will wake
And realize that yesterday was one big mistake
