The world is chained.
Black and gnarled branches
Stretch across the world
Breaking free of their chains
Instilling rebellion in our hearts

The tree of Gaia
Was chained and black with grief
Prison charring its bark
Its heavenly stature scarred

Its roots met nothing but stone
Branches met a caging ceiling
Stone was meant to crumble
Ceiling meant to cave

The tree of Gaia was freed
And so our shackles crumbled
