a poem for people who find themselves lost through the daily tribunals of life
looking up at the night sky
I see the crimson moon
guiding me to where I am headed
but...
where am I headed?

the path I tread seems to go on forever
looking around I see people
people who are weeping, toiling, suffering, hurting
people who are laughing, resting, having fun, enjoying life

"differences and similarites defines the only thing that binds us, make or break us, an indellible brand on our humanity"
these words made sense as I tried to make sense of it all
I grin slowly and say to myself
"is this all that there is to life?"

as I walk away from them
my messed up mind makes a mental picture
and I ask myself
"why? why are there so many differences?"

why are human lives binded by differences and similarities?
is that what makes us human?
makes us higher beings than animals?
I don't understand

as i keep on treading my path
I begin to question my own identity
"what am I? am I the only one who thinks like this?"

many years have already passed
and still...I don't have the answer to these questions
maybe there isn't one
maybe this is what it means to be human...
