Written for my daughter, nostalgic for a lost carefree childhood, at 22! Swap Quatrain
Swap Quatrain or Mirrored refrain, with reversed phrases in 1st and last lines, Tetrameter, with rhyme scheme aa bb,

Of mirror'd grey head, glimpse I see,
Wincing at signs of age in me,
For each past year, a tear I shed,
Glimpse I see, of mirror'd grey head.

Crumbling to dust, each ruthless day,
Strain as I will, it will not stay,
Each moment then, enjoy I must,
Each ruthless day, crumbling to dust.

Time flits by, hour by golden hour,
Sip the sweet, swallow not the sour,
The swelling laugh, the cleansing cry,
Hour by golden hour, time flits by.

Discard the clock, heed not the time,
Silken music, resplendent rhyme,
Don't stop to measure, or take stock,
Heed not the time, discard the clock.

Dabble in dew, capture moment,
Drink deeply of life's rich content,
Why mourn past days at twenty-two?
Capture moment, dabble in dew!
