Nature, music, and me--as one.
The Wind’s Nocturne

My mind wandered through the mist
of the coolness and calmness of the night
I heard a song,
a gentle tune,
Coming from the breeze lurking about.

It swept me into nighttime;
I obtained a calm and loving heart
In the middle of darkness
and the rays of the moon,
I was bound within nocturne walls.

As dictated by my mind,
I walked upon its tracks
Into the source of all peace –
within the night
within my heart.

I questioned the presence
of such a mysterious tune;
still I searched,
longed for more, for –
It guided my hands into my dream,
It was within my reach;
I dreamt of eternal peace
within my soul.

My ears had finally
accepted such mystery,
It made my body drift
along the tune,
I paused, gasped,
Sat underneath a tree.
I slept in the nocturne’s presence
until the appearance of the new sun.

That music was my dream
Wasn’t it?
It introduced me
to a new life,
that anyone would want
to lay his eyes upon,
a dream of reality or –
a dream of illusion
a dream of fantasy.
