Wastebasket.....

We had devoured it, now it has to be put away.
It would not be proper to let it run loose.
Trash it, or we'll get caught in it.
Trash it, it stinks and i don't want to be a part of it.

The wastebasket will consume it,
for as long as we manage it, we developed it.
A city of trash, how to clean it?
Put it in the dumpster out of the way!

City of light, big business that leads the way.
Great minds developed, so they would not join the decay,
walking this way and that,
stepping over trash, the human relay.

The basket is overflowing, and growing.
The wastebasket is burping,
for it's ill's are developing, of hunger and consumption,
for who dreams of such a way.

The wastebasket is full,
Empty it, for it will be seen, and expose the unclean.
To the dumpster, to what our developed minds had mustered,
where? to the edge of town, so we may continue our cluster.
