                                                        CHAPTER 1

The stench of blood and rotted flesh roamed the holding cells. Every minute they dragged a unfimiliar body through those arena gates, then another Gladiator goes out, until he comes back being dragged by his ankles on the blood stained floor. "Your up Xendios"
a voice came from above. I looked up, there standing was the blade master, a tall figure, his face was hidden behind a mask and at his side a long sword the size of a small child. I stood up "Just don't get your blood on my boots" the blade master taunted. I positioned myself in front of the arena gates and wait for them to introduce me to the audience.
"Laides and gentlemen, we have a treat install for you, I am proud to announce the arrival of our arena grand champion, Xendios" The audience all cheered when they heard my name. "And for the first time in years, he is up against not one, not two, but three forerocess starving lions "
the crowd went wild when the lions were set loose, as soon as my gate opend one of the lions leaped striaght at me, jaws spread wide at the ready. I trie to dodge, but a bit to late, I felt a sudden jolt of pain rush through my arm, one of the lions saliva coated fangs shinking into my forearm, I cursed with pain as I treid to rip it out but with no sucsses. the imact of the second lion headbutting me in my ribcage causing me to lose grip of my blade. "It is not looking good for the champion"  came the muffled sound of the comentator. Acting quick, I managed to riggle my unoccupied arm free to reach for the sword, stabbing the lion in the temple on top of me, pushing it aside, I am finaly preparerd for action. "The champion has recoverd from that disarstaruse start"
