Love yourself.
This dread
How dreadful!
A mask
A mask, of course
Hid my fear
My doubt
It quilted
My troubled soul
Its lies
Its deception
But no
Never again
Shall a mask
A quilt
Shun my heart
For it tantalized
And I coveted
Something to believe in
I coveted
I cowered
Yet now
Where my heart now lies
Is where it is at peace
For once again
My tears roam my face
Not in confusion
Or vulnerability
But in power
Because for the first time
I regained my life through love
Not for others
Yet in love for
Myself.
