A person tries to decide whether or not to trust someone that betrayed her.
Inner War

I think I'm a little confused
About what or how I feel for you.
Somehow maybe you're ready to be redeemed.
But then you're never what you seem.
Am I, should I, be mad?
Because of all the things you've done bad?
Am I, should I, be happy?
Because you apologized for the pain you've caused me?
Why can't I figure it out?
This is killing me, filling me with doubt!
Can I trust you?
Are you willing to be true?
Or will you again betray?
Damnit, when will all these questions go away!?
But what will I do if I'm led astray?
What will I do? Will my heart be repaid?
I'm, I think, a little sick of your games,
And knowing you'll find me reassigning the blame.
Well maybe it's my fault too...
For not getting soon enough over you?
No! My friendship is free!
{You're} the one who CHOSE to hurt me!
One more time and I will not bend.
And our friendship comes to its end.
