A little poem about what a vampire would pray to the Dark Gods for.
NOCTURNAL PRAYER
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the lord, my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul don’t take.

Allow me to stay in human flesh
Let me feast on blood so fresh.
Let me flee from the Light
To reign forever in eternal Night.

Give me power o’er bird and beast,
Give me your children on which I’ll feast.
And even through it is so wrong,
Let me join The Nocturnal Throng.

Let me lie in the quiet earth;
It is the tomb of my nightly birth
And with the rising of the moon,
Let me sing with Darkness’s tune.

I invite the children of the Day
To come with me and walk my way.
I’ll let you feel my cold embrace
And welcome you to the Netherworld Race.
