An unfinshed poem found festering away under a heap of old verses.
You take my breath away
Just like the sweet scentless fumes
Of carbon monoxide whilst
Trapped in a confined space
As the toxic gas slowly creeps
Down my trachea into the lungs
Building an army of particles
So it can seize my broken being
Leaving my being fallen and empty

You make my skin crawl
Just like a thousand spiders,
Cockcroaches and fat flies
One by one in their battle charge
Ascending onto my limbs
Weaving their webs and laying their eggs
Until I'm no longer visible
Nothing but a heaving black mass
Of twisted legs and twitching wings
