A poem based on one simple theory: Have you ever trusted someone and lived to regret it?
I close my eyes and think back,
The air was humid the sky was pitch black.
The blood flowing from my lips still feels so real,
Somehow that night it was the only warmth I could feel.
I tell myself there was only one of her,
Who could get such joy out of watching others suffer.
Then last night unfortunately I met you,
Someone who could make my worst fear come true.
People shouldnt treat people the way that bitch treated me,
But then I saw you treat him the same so easily.
The memories flooded back and I remembered it all,
And I wonder why I even took you as my friend for I cannot recall.
