Very short...6 lines, and very personal to me.
To what do I owe this pale reflection?
Revealing the stitches of frailty upon my brow
To search every corner and come up with nothing but sand
Brings to light sacrifice
Forgetting the burden and peeling the flesh
From this overdue anguished goodbye
