THERE IS AN URGE

There's an urge to write
With all of my might
Can't control the feeling
I guess it's time for healing

Lost my book I was writing
About my life story on Alcoholism
Gave up the fight for looking
So I started writing

Life has twists and turns
God gives us things we really earn
So today I will remain gratefull
Because today I can really learn
Learn to listen and listen to learn

There’s an urge to write
Though I lost my book I was writing
I than turned to be grateful
That I have pen in hand
And I now understand
I may take a break from the book
And take another look
At everything else in life
That makes it just alright
