Walk for a day in timid shoes...
Walk for a day in timid shoes
That cry against the silent earth
Until the stars ascend their thrones,
Then veer you left 'til morning's birth.
Exchange thy shoes with wispy dawn
For sandals wrought in ruby gold
And clinkingly retrace thy steps
Of night, until you feel old.
On happy impish infant feet
Jump back into thy youth once more
Sail through the spartan, timeless skies
Until you land on heaven's shore.
Your mind can journey without bound
Once insanity is found.
