When my grandmother passed
The First Time

The first time I cried for a woman, I never guessed it would be you
I never imagined my heart breaking for, an emotion so true
I never thought this would happen to me at this point in my rife
I always never envisioned seeing you when the moment was right
My heart learned a new emotion of heartache
That day you were no longer my keepsake
Life plays a vicious game and you play what youÃre dealt
Now this cruel world has given me an emotion I have never felt
When I think of the good times had
It does make my soul tired, angry, and sad
I feel this emotion as I think of you and along
I will realize you are the reason I stay strong
For if I didnÃt experience this emotion so young
My life and why I live it would never had begun
Now every time I think about the first time I cried as I look to the sky and say
You were the first time I cried for a woman, and I will see you some day
Grandma I miss you each and every time, I think about the first woman to make me cry.
