Why not me
Six billion people living on earth,
So many people, give actions their birth,
And so when we have something happen to us,
Why the complaining, why the fuss?

Haven't you realized that so many peeps,
Means you should feel lucky when nobody keeps,
Their eyes locked on you, to see what you do,
To follow around, and then start to mug you?

The odds are against you, that you will escape,
This life among humans, with only a scrape,
But now I do ask you, when do you learn,
Sitting at home, or struggling in turn?

Maybe these trials are for our own good,
Build us with each one, til we're stronger than wood,
Keep going onward and maybe some day,
You'll think to yourself as you hit the hay,

"Why not me, when I'm here at the end,
I see what it's made me, and I shall not bend,
I'll stick with the truths, the ones that I know,
Thanks for the trials, they've helped me to grow."
