A poem I had written about the need to cry.
I woke up this morning and started to cry.
The tears just flowed endlessly. So, many
reasons for those long awaited tears. I
fought so hard to keep those tears from
coming. They invaded me this morning, and
I didn't get a chance to fight them. They
broke down that locked door and flooded my
body with the pain I have been hiding . I
begged those tears to leave me be, told
them I didnt need them here with me. Some
of them were very angry, very sad,and some
were joyfull. Finally I asked them why they
had come. Suddenly they stopped and
whispered in my ear. Durring every storm
there are clouds that cover and make things
seem dark. The rain begins to come down .
You may even feel this is the end and you
will never feel happiness again. The clouds
roll away, and the last tear has fallen you
find a rainbow at the end of the storm.
