Potential poems/rhymes for modern day life and living, coffee table book.
Locked inside, a downward fall,
alone again, no-one to call.
Friends depart when I am down,
wanting only, the part, the clown.
High and low my moods do go,
left mostly feeling so.
Life has become all so bland,
sleeping for hours is all I stand.
Worrying what the future does hold,
it will pass, or so I’m told.
A cry for help, deep in me,
unable to break it, does no-one see.
Can I be the only one,
whose hopes and dreams have all but gone.
