poem about a voice in your head
A little voice sings within my head
Crawling through my bones
Gazing through my eyes
Kill’em Kill’em, Kill’em
It screams and screams
Like exploding sticks of dynamite
Until red is all I see
But this isn’t me
It’s a voice
That pulses through my veins
It’s a voice, a voice I say
For it is not me
It screamed and it screams
Kill’em, Kill’em , Kill’em all
Until nothing is left but darkness
And I can not move
I can not feel or smell the thick pool of blood that should be smothering me
But, Oh I can hear
Laughter, mad wild laughter
Coming from my head
Stop, Stop, Stop
I think so hard that my brain should explode
Smearing my knowledge against the walls
But then panic sets in
For all falls silent and still
Like I’m laying in the eye of a great storm
For hours, maybe even days
Nothing moves, nothing talks
not even a single ray of light has shown
And finally my little voice comes to save me from my madness
Breaking through my thoughts with whispers that state
Dead, I am dead, you are dead,
All things are dead
